School Closure on Monday, January 26

Following this afternoon’s latest briefing from the National Weather Service and local emergency officials regarding Winter Storm Fern, updated forecasts indicate a higher likelihood of ice accumulation than originally expected, along with an Extreme Cold Warning for Monday morning. Wind chills are expected to be around 3–4 degrees.

In the interest of safety for our students and staff, Jasper ISD will cancel school for all campuses on Monday, January 26. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and will provide updates regarding Tuesday as more information becomes available.
