The Jasper ISD Board of Trustees consists of seven members. Board members are elected for three-year terms with elections conducted annually in May. Election of members are at-large positions, representing the entire district.
There are Three (3) Trustee Positions up for election.
The next election will be Saturday, May 2nd, 2026.

APPLICATION TIMELINE/DEADLINES
Current state law requires a candidate for trustee of an independent school district to be a qualified voter by the time required by Election Code Section 141.001.
An application for place on the ballot (PDF) must be filed with Linda Coleman in Human Resources at the Jasper ISD Administration Department.
In a special election held by a school district, an application for a place on the special election ballot (PDF) must be filed with Linda Coleman in Human Resources at the Jasper ISD Administration Department.
IMPORTANT DEADLINES:
Wednesday, January 14th, 2026 - First Day to file for a place on the ballot
Friday, February 13th, 2026 by 5:00 P.M. - Last Day to file for a place on the ballot
