Updated Guidelines for COVID-19 Regarding Household Based Positive Cases
If anyone in a student's household has tested positive for COVID-19, that student is considered to be a continuous close contact. That student must follow the guidelines posted below.
- 14 day stay at home period, or;
- Stay at home period can end for students experiencing no symptoms on Day 10 after close contact exposure if no subsequent COVID-19 testing is performed, or;
- Students with no symptoms can receive a negative PCR test on days 5, 6, or 7 after exposure and return on day 8
All days spent in quarantined will be excused absences as long as proper documentation is submitted to the student's campus. Quarantine or isolation days will not be counted against a student for compulsory attendance, receiving credit, or exam exemption status.
