Welcome Home Coach Crumedy!

Jasper ISD is pleased to announce Kendrick Crumedy as the new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach for the Jasper Bulldogs after a unanimous vote by the board of trustees on Monday, February 28th.

Coach Crumedy was the unanimous choice of the 12 person hiring committee that consisted of 6 JISD employees and 6 community members/parents.

Crumedy, who has his bachelor’s from Sam Houston in History and a Master’s degree in Sports Management/Kinesiology, also from Sam Houston, is no stranger to Jasper ISD. He is a 2003 graduate of Jasper High School.

He is the current offensive coordinator (since 2016), strength and conditioning coordinator and head track coach for Manvel High School. His other accomplishments include:

  • 123-19 record as a varsity coach
  • 68-11 record as the offensive coordinator
  • His record as a coach at Manvel includes 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020 trips to the 6A/5A State Quarterfinals and a 2017 appearance in the state championship game.
  • As head track coach he has won 2 state championships.
  • As recruiting coordinator, he has helped over 50 athletes get D1 scholarships.
  • University athletic director experience for both male and female club sports
  • Has coached both boys' and girls' sports
  • Has been a professional development lecturer for the Texas High School Coaches Association
  • His leadership in the areas of character development, discipline, and strength and conditioning for all athletes at Manvel High School and its feeder Jr. High programs is highly praised by his current and previous supervisors.

Kendrick and his wife Kim have one son, KJ age 3, and look forward to becoming part of the Bulldog Family!
