Dear Parents:

Jasper I.S.D. has installed a computerized telephone program called “School Messenger” that allows the district to contact parents and employees quickly and effectively. The system will serve as a “message service” to parents to notify them about campus events, parent meetings, early dismissal of school, student absences, school closings and school emergencies.

The district will perform a test call on Monday, December 10^th. Once the program is fully implemented, the automated phone calls will be made each night between the hours of 6:00-8:00 p.m. The system is designed to contact up to three (3) phone numbers from the student’s records file. If a parent needs to change or add a phone number in their child’s records, please contact the “Records Management Clerk” (listed below) on each campus. If you do not need to change any of the phone numbers in your child’s record file, please do not respond to this message.  

Jasper I.S.D. feels this communication system is another tool that will be helpful to both the parents and the district.
