ATPE TEACHER of the YEAR
Renee Dickerson,
one of Few Primary’s second grade teachers, was named ATPE Elementary
Educator of the Year. Miss Dickerson was presented the honor during an
a wards
ceremony at the Association of Texas Professional Educators’ 28th
annual state convention. The ATPE state president said, “The Educator of
the Year award is one of the highest honors we give each year and is only
given to those educators who go the extra mile every day for their
students and coworkers. Renee is an inspiration to the rest of us and a
valuable source of information for her peers.” Few Principal,
Vanessa Phillips said, "Renee truly is an outstanding teacher, she has
furthered her education receiving her Master Reading, ESL, and Principal
Certificate in the last few years. Her instruction is interactive and
students excel in her class. She is well deserving of this honor and we
are fortunate to have her teaching our students.
