NCLB Highly Qualified Teacher Information

To be considered highly qualified, the teacher must: Have a bachelor's degree Demonstrate competency by Passing the required content test or Having an academic major or 24 hours in the subject area being taught The NCLB Highly Qualified requirements for teachers should not be confused with the state's teacher certification requirements.
